Seagate ships self-encrypting drives for enterprises

Sea­gate Tech­nol­ogy said it is offer­ing its self-encrypting drive fea­ture with its entire line of enterprise-class hard disk dri­ves and that it has part­nered with Intel and LSI to inte­grate its encryp­tion tech­nol­ogy with the two com­pa­nies’ secu­rity man­age­ment firmware.

Google wins partial victory in EU legal battle over trademarks

Google appeared to have won a par­tial vic­tory in its long-running legal bat­tle with trade­mark own­ers when a senior judge at the Euro­pean Court of Jus­tice said the com­pany didn’t infringe anyone’s trade­mark rights by allow­ing adver­tis­ers to buy search key­words cor­re­spond­ing to those trademarks.
